Privacy Policy

Adinkra Gems ("the App") is developed by Wesley Consults ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information when you use it.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics, a crash-reporting service provided by Google, to help us detect and fix stability issues. When the App crashes or encounters a fatal error, Crashlytics automatically collects:
- Stack traces and error messages
- Device model and operating system version
- App version and build number
- The time and date of the crash
This information does not include any personal identifiers (no name, email, account ID, or similar). Crash reports are transmitted to Google's servers only when an error occurs. We use this data solely to improve the App's stability.
1.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All of the following information is stored only on your device using the device's local storage (SharedPreferences). None of this data is ever transmitted to us or to any third party:

You can clear all local data by uninstalling the App or through your device's app storage settings.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
- Account credentials or authentication data
- Precise or coarse location data
- Contacts, photos, media, or files on your device
- Advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID)
- Analytics or usage behavior data
- In-app purchase history (the App has no in-app purchases)
The App does not include:
- Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, or any other analytics SDK
- AdMob, Google Mobile Ads, or any advertising SDK
- User accounts, login, or registration systems
- Backend servers or APIs (other than Crashlytics crash reporting)
3. Third-Party Services
3.1 Firebase Crashlytics (Google)
Crash reports are processed by Firebase Crashlytics, a service operated by Google LLC. Google's use of crash data is governed by the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms and Google's Privacy Policy.
For Android users, Crashlytics uses the Android Advertising ID (AAID) only for de-duplicating crash reports, not for advertising or tracking purposes. No advertising ID is available on the web version of the App.
If you use the App on Web, Crashlytics may set technical cookies required for crash-report functionality. These are strictly functional cookies — they do not track you across sites or sessions.
3.2 No Other Third-Party SDKs
No other third-party services that process user data are integrated into the App.
4. Children's Privacy
Adinkra Gems is a family-friendly puzzle game suitable for all ages. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. No age-gating, user accounts, or personal data collection exists in the App.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App (noting that the App has no mechanism to accept such information), please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Crash Reports
Crash reports transmitted to Firebase Crashlytics are retained by Google in accordance with the Firebase data retention settings for our project. These reports contain no personal identifiers.
Local Data
All locally stored data (game progress, settings, tutorial flags, balancing metrics) resides exclusively on your device. To delete this data:
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Adinkra Gems → Storage → Clear Data, or uninstall the App.
- Web: Clear your browser's site data and local storage for the App's domain.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect information:
- All local data is stored in the App's private storage sandbox, inaccessible to other apps.
- Crash reports are transmitted to Firebase's servers over encrypted (TLS) connections.
- No user data is stored on servers we control, because we operate no backend servers.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because the App collects virtually no personal data (only anonymized crash reports and locally stored preferences), exercising these rights is straightforward:
- Delete local data: Uninstall the App or clear its storage via device settings.
- Crash data: Crash reports are anonymized and cannot be tied back to individual users. Contact us if you have questions.
8. International Data Transfers
Crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics are processed on Google's global infrastructure, which may involve transfer to servers outside your country of residence. Google's data processing is certified under relevant data protection frameworks. For details, see Google's Data Processing Terms.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notice when feasible.
